Karyn M. Warsow and Jenny Mindell
ICTH Co-Founders
ICTH has been branded as a direct participatory experience. As a result of travel restriction due to the COVID-19 global pandemic of 2020, Jenny and I have decided to look at this situation as an opportunity to expand our offerings. ICTH 2021 will be a completely virtual event.
Hosting ICTH virtually means that we will be working to ensure that each delegate continues to experience the best scientific and social interactions as possible. Jenny and I are also committed to ensuring that the transport and health community feels a sense of belonging. It's even more important during this time that we share our innovative work, feelings of frustration, and inspirational thoughts for the future.
So, without wasting any more words....Let's do this!
It's 2021. A new year. A new beginning. A new perspective. It's time to RE-IGNITE the energy that has always been ICTH! OUR community is made up of PEOPLE who have always worked to make a difference in the world. Put on your best Pajamas and FUZZY SLIPPERS and get ready for ICTH 2021 - VIRTUAL! Expect the UNEXPECTED!

Conference Summary
ICTH is not just a conference, it's people coming together to facilitate change. The International Conference on Transport & Health aims to provide valuable insights into the health impacts of transport and urban planning, governance, strategic management, policy-making, performance metric tools and the potential return on investment of a dynamic system. Join us to learn HOW the most innovative minds in academia, practice and policy are bridging the gap between scientific investigation and real-world application. Policy-makers, practitioners and academics from multiple disciplines and professional sectors involved in transport planning and engineering, public health, urban planning, spatial and architectural design, environmental planning, economics and beyond will meet to share their stories of success and failure; build world-wide collaborative friendships; but most importantly, leave inspired! ICTH is the only conference in a world-wide market fully dedicated to transport systems and health impacts. Hot Topic Sessions and abstract presentations (oral, pecha kucha and poster) will be led by cross-disciplinary and multi-sector teams to demonstrate “how” non-traditional and innovative thinking can lead to creative problem solving. |
